Recently returning back from injury for Chelsea is Eden Hazard. The Belgian international had been out for some time. He has featured in every game since their 6-0 Champions League win against Azerbaijan side Qarabag. Each game, Hazard has come off the bench meaning will he eventually end up as a starter as time goes by.
Speculation arose over the summer as Hazard was linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge. Showing the most interest was Spanish side Real Madrid. But even though he is still a Chelsea player, Real Madrid are still keen to bid for him in the near future.
With the recent news of Diego Costa, you would think Chelsea will want to keep their best players. Their most prized possession is Eden Hazard. He is a winger that will not just create goals for teammates but score bags of goals by himself. Interested in the Chelsea player, Zinedine Zidane will more than likely be keeping an eye on him over the course of this season.
The 26-year-old scored 16 goals last season and would benefit a Real Madrid side if they really needed him. You could argue that they wouldn’t need him due to Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale being in the squad. But how do you replace them if they are injured or suspended?
Even if Chelsea wouldn’t want to sell him, Real Madrid would come in with a very big offer. If they did though, it could be potentially record-breaking with the reputation that Hazard currently holds.
Madrid would also suit Hazard’s style of play. With a formation of a front three just like Chelsea, it wouldn’t be a problem for the star man. He has been a top player in the Premier League for a number of years now. Hazard may also want to find a new challenge by the end of this current season.
Making an offer next season wouldn’t be surprising if it came from Real Madrid. Even if Chelsea won’t agree to sell him the move would still be likely.
